About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Mission Technologies’ Cyber & Intelligence team is seeking multiple Readiness Analysts at the Junior and Journeyman levels to support an upcoming, high‑impact mission at Fort Meade. This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.

Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration
  • Mission Assurance 1 - 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Mission Assurance 2 - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Mission Assurance 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in conducting Intelligence Community Operational Readiness Exercises, with proven field operations experience, technical operational training, and relevant operational certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts assessments to identify gaps in capabilities, resources, personnel, and processes affecting readiness.
  • Collects and analyzes operational preparedness data; produces reports and dashboards to communicate readiness status.
  • Coordinates readiness initiatives and develops improvement plans to address identified deficiencies.
  • Performs risk management by identifying threats to operational readiness and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures compliance with standards and regulations; maintains essential documentation.
