About The Position

The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the IMT 500 hourly Reader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work, skill level, experience, and schedule availability. This position will work a maximum of 10 hours per week. Reader/Graders may not perform teaching duties. Applicants must be located in the United States for the duration of the appointment. Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 5 credits at the University of Washington Seattle as of Autumn 2026 are eligible. Strong interest and ability to work with students having diverse skill levels is required. Prior completion of IMT 500 with strong performance or demonstrated proficiency in the course content is also required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grade exams and papers
• Maintain grading records
• Manage, and respond to course related email
• Attend instructor/employee meetings
• Attend lectures and office hours
• Review literature

Benefits

• Pay: $23.81-$25.48 per hour based on experience.
