About The Position

The Read By Grade 3 (RBG3) Learning Strategist is responsible for supporting the implementation of the RBG3 initiative, which aims to ensure all students are reading at grade level by the third grade. This role involves working with students, teachers, and administrators to identify learning needs, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress. The position is for the 2026-2027 school year at Red Rock Elementary School.

Requirements

• Must possess or be able to acquire, by time of appointment to the position, a Standard-Elementary: Grade Level K–5 or K–8 teaching license issued by the NDE.
• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Read By Grade 3 (RBG3) initiative.
• Work with students to identify learning needs and provide targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective literacy strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on literacy instruction.
• Analyze data to inform instructional decisions and program effectiveness.
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress and program goals.
