About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a ReactJS Front-End Developer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within the financial crimes technology sector. The ideal candidate is a strong developer with a curious mindset who will work closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications and participate in the full development lifecycle. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Requirements

Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experience
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
Expertise in Web Application development using ReactJS and Java Spring
Strong programming skills in building multi-tier applications using Spring BOOT 5.x
Strong experience in RESTful Web services
Strong knowledge in Spring core Dependency injection, Annotations, and Configurations
Knowledge and experience in Java Spring JPA, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, Node.js
Knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Redux
Experience with Web Containers – Tomcat 9.0 and higher, Jboss, Apache 2.4.x
Database experience with Oracle 19c
Experience in Maven 3.0
Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills, with experience in tuning processes and SQL
Familiarity and experience with Autosys scheduler or other scheduling tools
Experience in Unix shell scripting
Strong working experience in Agile methodology
Experience in SDLC, Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and change management tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)

Responsibilities

Develop complex requirements, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support activities for application maintenance
Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements
Estimate work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Perform proof of concepts as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline
Handle technical aspects of the application, including Change Management, Maintenance, and Platform Upgrades
Analyze present-state, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation
