React/Node Architect

About The Position

We are seeking a React/Node Architect for our ULTA account. This role is open to remote candidates and a Senior Developer with the right experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML, with a strong understanding of responsive design and single-page architecture. You will be responsible for developing RESTful APIs, implementing unit testing, and working with a variety of emerging and traditional technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML.
• 7+ years of experience in Responsive design, Single page architecture.
• At least 7 years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with a Junit, Selenium, Cucumber JS unit testing library (JEST, Mocha).
• Experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, React, REST, JSON, Java Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Selenium, NGINX, Kubernetes, Express, Chef, Docker, NoSql databases and Git/Github/Bitbucket.
• Hands-on backend microservices & API development using Node.js, REST, JSON, Docker, NoSql databases and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design and development.
• Experience with AWS services such as Cloud Formation Templates, S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway(Apigee).

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular, Ionic and native app development is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab).
• Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.

Responsibilities
