Your first assignment is to help rebuild a federal agency's internal web application, building the React components and the services behind them as a legacy content-management front end gives way to a modern one. You will work within the lead's architecture and own real pieces of it. The work is real, hard, and it matters. Requirements

Solid React and TypeScript, building components and contributing to the Node.js and API tier.
Web fundamentals: HTML and CSS, accessible interfaces, and testing that holds up.
Judgment to build in a regulated federal environment where accessibility (Section 508) and security are not optional.
U.S. citizenship (this initial engagement may be staffed by U.S. citizens only).
Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination.

Responsibilities

Build React and TypeScript components that users rely on, built within a clear architecture and held to a high bar for quality.
Contribute to the Node.js middleware and application programming interface (API) tier (Express, REST or GraphQL).
Contribute to the migration off the legacy content-management system.
Help spin up new capabilities, tools, and lines of business within the firm.
