Requirements

• Operating a reach truck and other machinery
• Loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping
• Working in all departments
• Receiving, counting and recording shipment data into the system
• Matching packing list information to actual merchandise
• Preparing packages/merchandise for storage
• Identifying incorrect/short/over/damaged items and immediately notifying supervisor
• Installing protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Maintaining condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Following company safety policies and procedures
• Receiving and filling orders, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors
• Performing receiving, stocking, replenishing, picking, shipping tasks, and other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area. May operate a forklift, reach truck, or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual merchandise. Prepares packages/merchandise for storage
• Identify incorrect/short/over/damaged items and immediately notify supervisor.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• Receive and fill orders, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
• May perform receiving, stocking, replenishing, picking, shipping tasks, and other duties as assigned
