About The Position

Ascend Staffing is now hiring experienced Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operators for a manufacturing and distribution center in the snack industry in Coppell, TX. Stand-Up Reach AND Sit-Down forklift experience is required for consideration. Candidates with experience operating Toyota and/or Aisle Master equipment are strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Stand-Up Reach forklift experience required
• Sit-Down forklift experience required
• Must live within a 20-mile radius of Coppell, TX
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Toyota and/or Aisle Master experience preferred
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Stand-Up Reach and Sit-Down forklifts
• Operate Toyota and/or Aisle Master equipment
• Use wireless RF scanners to accurately track inventory
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and to designated workstations or pickup locations
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records, activity logs, and completed task documentation
• Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs
• Follow company quality and customer service standards
• Identify and report workplace safety hazards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA guidelines
