About The Position

A successful Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for unloading and loading inbound and outbound products, as well as moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. The role uses powered industrial equipment to handle and stage products and materials, prepare products for shipment, and ensure accurate and safe loading and unloading. The operator completes daily equipment inspections, maintains good housekeeping, and conducts work in a manner that promotes safety. The position pays $20.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Obtain and maintain equipment certifications, such as OSHA or company certifications.
• Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment, such as protective footwear, protective eyewear, and gloves, in accordance with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Follow customer requirements and other instructions to ensure accurate counts, product stability, and safe loading and unloading.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow the clean-as-you-go process.
• Operate safely and report unsafe conditions that cannot be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
