About The Position

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise to be shipped to PETCO stores by receiving, moving, and stocking warehouse goods. The role involves routine tasks performed multiple times daily and is considered safety-sensitive, requiring drug testing. The candidate must be able to operate forklift equipment, including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks, and repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds. A hand-held computer may be used to scan merchandise bar codes, and computerized pick-modules may be operated. While this position typically does not involve supervising others, management may occasionally delegate additional responsibilities, including providing functional guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts and turret trucks.
• Must be able to repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use hand-held computer to scan merchandise bar codes.
• Must be able to operate computerized pick-module.
• Must be able to demonstrate, with or without an accommodation, the ability to perform the essential job functions.
• This is a safety sensitive position that requires drug testing.
