The RBTH Coordinator reports operationally to the Manager of Component Programs at Regional One and functionally collaborates with the Repairs, Operations and customers. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of Repair by the Hour (RBTH) programs, including inventory oversight, repair operations, customer service, and contract compliance for components located at Regional One warehouses and customer locations. Acting as the primary interface between Customers, Regional One, and approved repair vendors, the RBTH Coordinator ensures seamless operational execution, repair coordination, component availability, cost control, and high levels of customer satisfaction across all Repair by the Hour (RBTH), Power by the Hour (PBH), and Flight Hour Program activities

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years aviation MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul), component repair, or aerospace supply chain experience
  • Experience with Flight Hour Programs, RBTH (Repair by the Hour) / PBH (Power by the Hour) / exchange or aircraft leasing support agreements preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA(Federal Aviation Administration)/EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) regulatory frameworks and Part 145 repair stations.
  • Experience managing rotable component inventories, exchanges, repairs, and pool programs preferred
  • Proven success in vendor management and cost control
  • Experience managing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations and critical operations
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRO systems (AMOS, Quantum, SAP, Ramco)
  • Customer focus and relationship management
  • Contract and commercial acumen
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft components and repairs
  • Attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Proactive communication and stakeholder coordination
  • Decision-making under pressure (especially during AOG events)

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of rotable aircraft component repair and MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) operations
  • Oversee TAT (turnaround time), cost optimization, and inventory utilization
  • Lead AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response and time-critical logistics
  • Manage vendor relationships, repair shops, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partnerships
  • Drive KPI performance (SLA adherence, reliability, fill rates)
  • Support contract lifecycle management and compliance (FAA/EASA)
  • Coordinate global logistics, customs, and supply chain execution
  • Utilize systems such as Quantum, SAP, or other MRO/ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms
  • Serve as the primary focal point for repair coordination between customers, internal departments, OEMs, and FAA/EASA-approved Part 145 repair vendors
  • Manage component pool inventory to ensure contractual service levels, fleet support requirements, and customer operational readiness objectives are achieved
  • Analyze rotable component utilization trends and recommend actions to optimize inventory availability, repair expenditures, and pool performance
  • Act as the primary customer-facing representative for RBTH programs
  • Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on repair status, delays, and AOG situations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations
  • Lead customer performance reviews, including KPIs such as turnaround time, fill rates, and reliability
  • Proactively identify and resolve service issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams as required
  • Support sales teams with technical and operational insights to enhance customer offerings
  • Interpret and manage RBTH, consignment, exchange, and repair agreements to ensure full compliance
  • Monitor contractual performance, including service levels, pricing, and turnaround commitments
  • Validate repair-related billing (repair charges, exchange fees, core billings) against contract terms
  • Coordinate core return processes and ensure accurate and timely core billing
  • Support contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals with commercial teams
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all contract and repair activities
  • Create and manage sales, exchange, lease, and repair orders in alignment with program requirements
  • Issue purchase orders and manage vendor engagement for repair and procurement activities
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to resolve invoicing issues
  • Ensure all repair-related charges are invoiced accurately and processed in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report invoicing discrepancies and financial variances
  • Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for margin improvement
  • Provide technical data to vendors, including time/cycles, last overhaul, and back-to-birth documentation
  • Review and address discrepancies related to incoming parts, documentation, and traceability
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve repair shop findings and non-conformances
  • Ensure all subcontracted repairs comply with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Monitor QC hold items and drive corrective actions with vendors
  • Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events with urgency, coordinating across internal and external teams
  • Work with logistics providers to resolve shipping issues, including customs clearance and drop shipments
  • Assist receiving teams with non-conforming parts and discrepancies
  • Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor and manage repair team communications, including shared inboxes and escalations
  • Maintain accurate data and transactions within: Quantum Control
  • Track and report KPIs related to repair performance, inventory utilization, and customer service levels
  • AMOS Aircraft Maintenance Software
  • Provide regular operational and financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders
