About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians (RBT/BT) to provide 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children with autism or developmental delays in their homes. This role focuses on helping children build essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and boost confidence through play-based ABA techniques designed by a licensed BCBA. You will work consistently with the same children, supporting their progress in their natural environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires patience, energy, and creativity, with comprehensive training and support provided.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus!
- Weekend availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
