About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking behavior technicians (RBT/BT) to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support. The role involves helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will work consistently with the same children to help them make progress in their everyday environments. The position offers flexible part-time hours, making it a good fit for those looking to supplement income or work around school or other jobs. Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- ABA experience a plus.
- Weekends availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
