About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support. This role involves helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy. You will work with the same children consistently, helping them make progress in their everyday environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism)
Afternoon/evening availability
Weekend availability
Reliable transportation
Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

ABA experience a plus!

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
