About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs) providing 1-on-1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder in their homes. This role offers flexible part-time hours, primarily in the afternoons and evenings, making it an ideal opportunity to supplement income or fit around other commitments. As an RBT/BT, you will work directly with children to help them develop essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and build confidence through play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. You will follow treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA and work with the same children consistently, helping them achieve progress in their natural environments. This is a hands-on, impactful role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a significant difference in a child's life.

Requirements

Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
Afternoon/evening availability.
Reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

ABA experience a plus!
Weekend availability a plus.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
