About The Position

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. As an RBT/BT, you will provide 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA. This role involves working consistently with the same children in their everyday environments, making a tangible difference in their lives. It's a hands-on, high-impact role where patience, energy, and creativity are key. The company provides training and support to meet each child's unique needs.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans created by a supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
