The Stock Apparatus Sales Manager is responsible for creating and executing stock apparatus sales plans. This position defines the standard specifications for the stock apparatus by coordinating with necessary personnel. Also, the Stock Apparatus Sales Manager will develop and implement dealer training and marketing for stock apparatuses. Oversees and coordinates consortium and cooperative purchasing programs, ensuring compliance with established contract terms, pricing agreements, and purchasing requirements. Collaborates with dealers, customers, and internal departments to facilitate consortium purchases, maintain program relationships, and identify opportunities to increase apparatus sales through cooperative purchasing agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required.
  • 3-5 years of pre-sales experience is required.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform intermediate PC functions including spreadsheet formulas and functions, queries, tables, merges, and special reports.
  • Intermediate experience required.
  • Able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Smart Sheets.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to learn on the job and adapt to challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient organization and time-management skills.
  • Understand the need to support the organization to work effectively by adhering to the attendance and punctuality standards and does not burden co-workers and supervisors unfairly with unnecessary and unplanned absences and lateness.
  • Analytical and highly motivated individual with acute attention to detail.
  • Efficient time management skills to ensure all job tasks are completed.
  • Proficient in your ability to manage multiple and diverse projects, including analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, problem solving, decision making, and carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to travel for this job.
  • Must be able to work professionally with customers, Sr. Management, and vendors.
  • Able to lead and supervise a team of an employee’s effectively and with a positive attitude and affirmativeness

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
  • 5 years of management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and develops stock apparatus sales plans and goals.
  • Configures and develops stock order goals with dealers.
  • Defines order configurations for standard apparatuses specification.
  • Coordinates with marketing team to create marketing strategies for the stock apparatus.
  • Coordinates and aligns 3rd parties and associated partner manufacturers.
  • Creates and manages a dealer training program on selling stock fire apparatuses.
  • Manages and coordinates apparatus purchases through consortium and cooperative purchasing programs.
  • Ensuring consortium purchases comply with applicable contract terms, pricing structures, and purchasing requirements.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.
