About The Position

Join our Protein Conversion team and play an essential role in supporting safe, efficient poultry processing. As a Raw Receiving Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving, monitoring, and handling raw materials to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process. This hands-on hourly role includes unloading trailers, monitoring raw material bins, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the raw receiving area. This fast-paced environment requires attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn, including operating powered industrial trucks (PITs). Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Poultry or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work in warm temperatures.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • List all employment for the past five (5) years, including Full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, and seasonal roles, even if included on your resume. Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and stage raw materials from trailers and open-top trucks to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process.
  • Monitor raw material bins and receiving areas closely to prevent overflows, contamination, or production disruptions.
  • Perform daily and weekly sanitation duties, including cleaning floors, walls, catch basins, and foaming designated areas to meet food safety and biosecurity standards.
  • Learn and support all job functions within the Protein Conversion area as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Safely operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all plant safety, food safety, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
