About The Position

This position is accountable to produce food safe product in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It involves comprehending weights and measurements during mixing procedures, communication about liquid egg levels to appropriate departments, and training for confined space entry, chemical handling, CIP system, annual mixer training, pallet jack and the use of laboratory equipment. The role requires accurate and proficient completion of SAP documentation and any other written communication applicable to the job. Adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures is mandatory, as is following and championing personal and food safety policies and procedures, and reporting any concerns or violations to the Leadership Team. Other duties may be assigned. A majority of roles within the Monticello facility work with pork products and/or are in the same room with both pork and non-pork meat products.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends and/or holidays as needed with advanced notice
  • Willing and able to work with and/or handle various food products, including eggs and pork, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to read, write, and speak English

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, safety focused environment
