This role will support physical and chemical characterization of pharmaceutical raw materials using routine laboratory techniques such as ICPMS, liquid chromatography (HPLC, UPLC), and general lab techniques such as pH meter, balance, micropipetting, etc. The ability to work in a GLP or GMP environment with appropriate documentation and safety practices is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with calibration standards and procedures, including performing instrument calibrations in accordance with internal protocols, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to interpret analytical and operational data to assess accuracy, precision, and overall data quality, identify trends or anomalies, and support data integrity and compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting both routine preventive maintenance and non-routine troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of laboratory or manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and maintain reliability and compliance with applicable quality systems.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with eLN and data trending.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmaceutical experience and Thermo ICPMS is preferred but not required.
