About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse tasks including pulling product, assembling and loading pallets, repackaging damaged goods, cleaning, and receiving product. The Material Handler will also be responsible for operating equipment, identifying safety hazards, and participating in inventory counts. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is crucial, as is understanding food safety principles like HACCP. Requirements

• 6 months as a Fork Lift Operator
• Able to lift and maneuver cases over 50lbs continuously
• Able to perform basic math
• Read and write English

Responsibilities

• Pull product using pick list assigned to ship orders
• Assemble and wrap pallets with product requested on pick list
• Load palletized product on truck as requested on customer order
• Repack damaged product in new boxes and palletize
• Clean warehouse area as assigned
• Deposit trash from assigned area in dumpster
• Unload trucks with product received from vendors
• Move product from floor locations to rack locations
• Provide updated locations to Admins for product moved
• Perform daily checklist on all equipment used
• Identify and report all safety hazards
• Participate in Physical Inventory counts
• Inspect Trailers for safety and sanitation before loading
• Verify product received from vendors match product listed and are in good quality condition
• Practice and abide by all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Understand general operation of all equipment
• Notify supervisors of any food safety concerns
• Practices (GMPs)
• Understand Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• Support Food Safety Culture
