About The Position

We are looking for an competent Raw Material Control Sr Specialist to control the operations of the raw material warehouse systems and ensure the systems and processes perform properly. Ensure the materials received and stored are accurately recorded, stored, issued accurately, and that inventory data meets company requirements. Lead the administrative work within the warehouse, including supervision of Coordinators assigned to the warehouse.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of related experience
Good command of written and spoken English
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

Nice To Haves

Supply chain or logistics major or advanced degree in a related field
Previous experience in inventory management or manufacturing logistics

Responsibilities

Comply with and support EHS programs, policies, and procedures
Monitor Flex and ensure inventory transactions are accurate
Continually gain proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of ASR systems in RMW areas
Develop and conduct training for warehouse operations
Generate and publish Monthly Material Ledgers for Raw Materials and Subsidiary Materials
Review MR Zone items and act for resolution
Conduct monthly meetings with key persons (plant wide) for raw materials planning
Lead and supervise administrative members, including Coordinators, of the Raw Material Warehouse group
Ensure that receiving plans align with the capacity of the warehouses and desired stock levels
Develop relationships with suppliers related to warehouse operations
Participate in quality management system audits, lead role in OE customer audits for RMW
Intermittently cover duties of Raw Material Group Leader(s)
Oversee and perform administrative tasks within the warehouse; review and store check sheets and work reports, reconcile delivery notes, and generate necessary internal and external communication
Perform other duties as assigned by management
