Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing raw ingredients
- Ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Maintaining an organized workplace
- Operating machinery
- Conducting inventory checks
- Collaborating with various departments to meet production goals
- Engaging in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Chipping frozen meat blocks apart
- Running meat blocks through meat processing equipment
- Mixing ingredients together
- Adding oils as needed per customer specifications
- Cleaning meat room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
- Working with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
- Using a forklift to unload shipments into the freezer and stage product for processing when needed
