About The Position

The Systems Engineer is a senior-level position responsible for the operations, maintenance, and support of rapid deployment radar systems. This role requires technical expertise in system inspection, servicing, repair, and deployment, both domestically and internationally. The technician will assist in transitioning capabilities to permanent international work locations or demobilizing and redeploying equipment. Additionally, the position provides subject matter expertise for current and future program equipment challenges.

Requirements

  • Current or ability to obtain a DoW SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent military/technical training in radio frequency, electronics, or radars.
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience or combined education performing administration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and employment of Counter Fire Target Acquisition or Ground/Air Defense radar systems, or similar systems.
  • Flexibility to travel overseas as required.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government DoW SECRET Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must be immediately eligible for, and able to obtain, a TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a Class I worldwide medical clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR) Systems SAAB Giraffe 1X Leonardo Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar
  • Graduate of a military radar repair course, with advanced radar repair courses preferred.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems to document and track support calls.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and administer expeditionary radar systems.
  • Inspect, service, and repair systems up to the depot level.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Install, initialize, and operate equipment at domestic and international work locations.
  • Assist in transitioning capabilities to permanent international sites or demobilizing and redeploying equipment.
  • Provide subject matter expert analysis for program equipment challenges.
  • Document and track support calls using ticketing systems.
