About The Position

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Range Operations Supervisor to support the National Training Center (NTC) Range Operations and Maintenance contract. The Range Operations Supervisor plans, directs, and supervises daily firing desk operations, range scheduling, Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) activities, personnel, and operational support. The position ensures safe, efficient, and continuous execution of military training while maintaining compliance with Army regulations, contract requirements, and Government direction.

Requirements

  • Experience with Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS).
  • Ability to operate the current version of RFMSS.
  • Knowledge of Army regulations.
  • Ability to prepare operational reports and briefings.
  • Ability to train new Government RFMSS users.
  • Familiarity with G3 priorities.
  • Experience with data scrubs and maintaining standardized data.
  • Experience producing utilization and annual range operating/repair logs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily firing desk operations and Range Operations personnel.
  • Monitor range activities, report and document conflict, track resource allocation using RFMSS.
  • Coordinate with the Range Officer, OSCOR, and supported military units.
  • Supervise personnel, work assignments, training, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and contract requirements.
  • Maintain operational continuity during RFMSS outages using approved manual procedures.
  • Prepare operational reports and briefings.
  • Support inspections, audits, and Government-directed taskings.
  • Support Range duties and operate the current version of RFMSS.
  • Use RFMSS to document the control and use of training facilities.
  • Support planned training and administrative events in accordance with G3 priorities and allocate resources subject to Government approval.
  • Conduct quarterly range and training-land in-progress reviews; manage user requests as directed and coordinate previously scheduled resources when guidance changes.
  • Produce and distribute the daily electronic range and training bulletin; produce and distribute hard copy bulletins during system outages.
  • Provide reports and updates to the Operations Manager.
  • Assist in Training new Government RFMSS users and provide user manuals as needed.
  • Notify the Range Officer and OSCOR of RFMSS failures within two hours; continue operations using hard-copy procedures and upload all information after restoration.
  • Assist with quarterly data scrubs, maintain standardized data, and produce utilization and annual range operating/repair logs.
