Requirements

• High school diploma
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong persuasion abilities
• Proven ability to operate a cash register
• Experience or training in the safe operation, storage, and troubleshooting of firearms
• Computer literacy
• Ability to lift 25 lbs or more
• Ability to stand for long durations
• Demonstrate the five core values of Shoot Smart
• Ability to obtain NRA Range Safety Officer certification, NRA Pistol Trainer certifications, and Red Cross First Aid certification (Shoot Smart will assist with necessary certifications).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail sales or customer service
• Firearms proficiency and basic knowledge

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions.
• Perform range safety officer duties.
• Assist at special events and leagues.
• Operate the point of sale system.
• Sell lane rental, firearm rental, shooting accessories, and retail items.
• Guide customers through the Shoot Smart experience, ensuring a safe and fun time.
• Maintain range safety and ensure compliance with all policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the range.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors in a timely and efficient manner.
