About The Position

Chiron Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Range Engineer to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This role involves working with virtual networking concepts, configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows systems within a cyber range environment, and supporting cyber exercises and training events. You will collaborate with various teams, integrate tools and platforms, and provide real-time technical support during exercise execution.

Requirements

Minimum five years of experience supporting cyber training environments
Minimum of High School Diploma
Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IA-T2 Certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communications skills.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of virtual networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, firewalls, and network segmentation.
Working with virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows systems in a cyber range, lab, or training environment.
Support cyber exercises, cyber training events, or operational test environments, including execution-phase troubleshooting and environment restoration.
Collaborate effectively with exercise planners, scenario developers, red/blue teams, and infrastructure engineers.
Integrate tools, scripts, and platforms used by red, blue, and white teams.
Support exercise execution by troubleshooting technical issues, restoring environments, and adjusting range configurations in real time.
