Range Customer Service Associate
About The Position
White Birch Armory is seeking a full-time Range Customer Service Associate in Dover, NH. This role involves customer service, firearms knowledge, and supporting shooting sports industry operations. The associate will assist customers, manage range operations, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment. The position offers a competitive wage of $15 per hour, free range time, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule supporting both retail and range operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise and firearm purchases, processing sales transactions and firearm transfers, maintaining facility organization, assisting customers on the range, monitoring activities, promoting safe firearm handling as a Range Safety Officer, and addressing safety concerns.
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong active listening skills
- Working knowledge of firearms
- Working knowledge of firearm safety
- Working knowledge of related merchandise
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and safety focused in dynamic environments
- Ability to operate or quickly learn point of sale and operational systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check
