About The Position

The Randall Research Scholars Program Coordinator oversees all aspects of the Randall Research Scholars Program. Manages program budget including endowed funds and scholarships. Creates stewardship reports. Maintains alumni relations including the Seebeck Society and Randall Research Scholars Alumni Organization. Recruits and retains students to the program. Provides student advising and counseling including all freshman mid-semester check-ins for fall and spring. Manages the program's research lab. Hires, trains, and manages student lab managers. Oversees process for and organizes events for programmatic awards. Serves as Honors College liaison to the Office of Information Technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
  • Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of work in higher education.
  • Work with Honors Program/College experience preferred.
  • Endowment funds management and budgeting experience.
  • Knowledge of University systems ( ASAM, Concur, BuyBama, Banner, DegreeWorks, Denny, etc).
