About The Position

Under the administrative direction of the Assistant Director, the Coordinator will support the success of Mastercard Foundation Scholars and Participants. This role will coordinate activities and functions for the in-person and online components of the Scholars Program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. The primary focus of this position is the coordination, design, and implementation of curriculum and programming across each scholarship track. This includes developing structured learning experiences grounded in the Mastercard Foundation values and aligned with the program’s leadership and professional development goals. In addition, the Coordinator monitors Scholar progress through structured evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance tracking to assess impact, ensure milestones are met, and inform continuous program improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement programming across multiple Mastercard Foundation scholarship tracks, including in person and online components, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, and funding parameters.
  • Design and develop curriculum and structured learning experiences grounded in Mastercard Foundation values and leadership development objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, orientations, leadership sessions, and professional development programming for Scholars and Participants.
  • Monitor Scholar progress through structured evaluations, data tracking, feedback mechanisms, and regular check ins to assess impact and ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director, program staff, academic units, and campus partners to coordinate program delivery and ensure a cohesive Scholar experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of programming, participation, evaluations, and outcomes; compile and synthesize data to inform reports and continuous program improvement.
  • Ensure program implementation remains aligned with established priorities, compliance standards, and funding specifications.
