About The Position

The Ranch Hand is a full-time, on-site position at Bixby Ranch near Glenrock, Wyoming. The role supports ranch operations and livestock care, including calving and doctoring cattle, feeding livestock, maintaining ranch facilities, and operating agricultural and construction machinery. The position also includes baling hay and performing other duties assigned by the Ranch Supervisor and/or a company representative. Requirements

Experience handling cattle.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
Obtain acceptable results on a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.
An Associate’s degree and/or two years of experience is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Hold Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Certification or be willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

Calve and provide medical care to livestock.
Feed cattle daily using a tractor and bale processor.
Operate and maintain agricultural and construction machinery.
Build, repair, and maintain ranch facilities, including flood-irrigation work.
Bale hay.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Ranch Supervisor and/or company representative.
