About The Position

Join Menzies Aviation, a leading fueling company, as a Ramp Supervisor. This role directs the work of ramp agents in loading and unloading luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. You will also drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles. The position involves significant physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including a drug test.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Capable of lifting comfortably 70 lbs.
• Must be able to successfully complete training.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of prior ramp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lead agents and allocate ramp agent resources as needed.
• Complete shift reports and clear all exceptions from the T&A system in a timely manner.
• Ensure ramp personnel adhere to established company safety regulations.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
• Assist in the baggage handling area.
• Occasionally operate various pieces of ground support equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
