About The Position
Coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing.
- Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Ability to operate GSE.
- Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.
- FAA-covered safety sensitive position.
- Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
