About The Position

PSC Group is hiring full-time Railcar Repair Technicians in Pedricktown, New Jersey. The role involves safely handling heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs. Experience is not required; paid on-the-job training is available. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and the opportunity to build a stable, long-term career.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear required personal protective equipment without restriction and pass any required medical exams.
• Speak, write, and read fluent English.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• A valid driver's license and/or valid TWIC card may be required, depending on work location.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is a plus, but not required; paid on-the-job training is available.
• Previous military experience and a proven ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints and schematics to perform required repairs.
• Use basic mechanical skills and develop knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut, and gouge.
• Notify appropriate parties of materials or equipment needed to complete job tasks.
• Follow safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and comply with ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies.
• Ensure AAR, ARS, and customer quality assurance standards are met.
• Complete other duties as assigned to finish the task.
