About The Position
This isn't your average desk job. You'll be outside, up close and personal with railcars, battling grime, inspecting doors, and making sure every railcar is ready to roll. You'll wield backpack blowers and scraping tools like a railcar warrior, removing debris and contaminants that could damage vehicles. It's gritty, it's real, and it's railcar prep at its finest.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or the ability to get one.
- Valid state driver's license.
- A love for teamwork and safety.
- A sense of humor and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Open and close railcar end doors.
- Inspect railcars for damage, fatigue, and anything suspicious.
- Identify repairs that our team can tackle.
- Climb ladders (16-20 feet high!) and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.
- Follow all safety procedures.
