As part of the Rolling Stock Division, the market leader in North America for passenger coaches, locomotives, and light rail vehicles, you’ll help assemble best-in-class trains for cities across the continent.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED, or equivalent experience in manufacturing or related fields (e.g., electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service).
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and parts lists is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and fit-out coach modules such as roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks and panels, including air supply racks and piping assemblies.
  • Apply adhesives; align and secure floor panels; set windows and install door assemblies.
  • Install interior mechanical elements: insulation, sidewall panels, seating, and luggage racks.
  • Route and connect electrical wiring harnesses to subassemblies and final termination points.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as production requires.
  • Work from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Use fine motor skills for small-part assembly that demands excellent dexterity.
