Rail Yard Laborer
About The Position
PRS Auto is hiring immediately for energetic individuals to unload and load automobiles off of railcars at the Union Pacific Port Allen, LA Terminal. This is an entry-level part-time position with the potential to go full-time. No experience is required as we'll teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job. Applicants must currently live within a 30-minute commute of the business location. Out-of-area candidates and/or those requiring relocation will NOT be considered. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for growth and a potential career path for those individuals who are interested in the railroad industry. We have 40 locations across the country and are always looking for individuals who show signs of great work ethic, attitude, attendance, dedication, team player, and integrity.
Requirements
- Must currently live within a 30-minute commute of the business location.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs above your head.
- Must be able to climb various heights (Not afraid of heights).
