Requirements

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Rail industry knowledge is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, coordinate, and reconcile inbound/outbound rail schedules, and enter billing in SAP.
  • Serve as primary liaison between HM Logistics, Union Pacific, internal/external customers, and third-party vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices, schedule railcar cleaning, and maintain rail-related administrative records.
  • Provide on-call support and cross-train in scale house operations and truck automation procedures.
  • Coordinate logistics for special events, handle non-PO package shipments, enter purchase requisitions, and serve as a back-up for the plant clerical staff.
  • Engage in plant safety walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance and promote a safe work environment.
