About The Position
Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including transportation, value-added, intermodal, and specialized services utilized throughout entire supply chains. UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers. We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months rail experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
- Must have Chassis and container experience
- No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years
- No return to work program
- No DUI in last 5 years
- Medical certificate
- Long form physical (all 4 pages)
- Social security card
- CDL
- Twic card
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive a Class A tractor trailer to and from rail yards and various locations in Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA, and So-Cal.
- Perform drop and hook operations.
- Ensure timely and safe completion of all assigned moves.
