About The Position

Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including transportation, value-added, intermodal, and specialized services utilized throughout entire supply chains. UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers. We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

Requirements

6 months rail experience
21 years or older
Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
Chassis and container experience
No major accidents/tickets in the last 3 years
No return to work program
No DUI in last 5 years
Possession of a Medical certificate
Possession of a Long form physical (all 4 pages)
Possession of a Social security card
Possession of a CDL
Possession of a TWIC card

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive AM shift, Monday - Fridays, with start times between 6am-8am, averaging 10+ hours daily.
Travel to Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA, and So-Cal Locations.
Perform drop and hook (no touch freight) operations.
Operate a Class A tractor trailer.
Handle chassis and container movements.
