About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual to join our Abdominal Imaging section. This academic medical center offers in-person, hybrid, and remote options, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions. Clinical responsibilities include primary diagnostic and consultative service in Abdominal and Oncologic Imaging (X-ray/Fluoro, CT, MRI, US) across multiple locations, excluding interventional procedures. Section members typically rotate at the adjacent NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and participate in clinical consultations, tumor boards, and multidisciplinary conferences. Research opportunities are available with diverse translational imaging and image processing facilities, supported by dedicated staff.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent
  • Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Abdominal/body/oncologic imaging fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience
  • ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date

Responsibilities
