Radiology Technologist – Join a Community-Focused Orthopedic Clinic in Alabaster! Location: 831 1st Street North, Alabaster, AL 35007 Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00AM – 5:00 PMEvery Friday: Early dismissal by 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Baptist Health Orthopedic Clinic in Alabaster is seeking a Radiology Technologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Alabama
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy and physiology for interpretation or intervention.
  • Apply professional judgment and maintain a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Comply with state and federal regulations and Orlando Health’s mission.
  • Administer contrast medications and respond to adverse reactions.
  • Maintain high standards in image quality, documentation, and radiation safety.
  • Train and mentor student technologists and new team members.
  • Operate radiology computer systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Maintains well stocked and organized work areas.
  • Provides patient transport.
