About The Position
OrthoVirginia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide orthopedic imaging in a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient environment. The technologist works with physicians, clinical teams, and imaging professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images that help evaluate injuries and orthopedic conditions. The role is suitable for experienced technologists and recent graduates interested in building technical skills and orthopedic imaging expertise while contributing to patient care.
Requirements
- Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience is preferred.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Interest in developing deeper expertise in orthopedic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and produce high-quality digital images.
- Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
- Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and correct patient identification.
- Follow radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize exposure.
- Maintain imaging rooms and equipment to support safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Partner with physicians and clinical team members to provide an excellent patient experience.
- Support additional imaging and clinical needs as part of a collaborative team.
