About The Position

OrthoVirginia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide orthopedic imaging in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The role produces diagnostic images that help providers evaluate injuries and orthopedic conditions. The technologist works directly with patients and collaborates with physicians, clinical teams, and other imaging professionals, while building technical skills and orthopedic imaging expertise. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license.
ARRT certification.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy.
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and produce high-quality digital images.
Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification.
Follow radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize exposure.
Maintain imaging rooms and equipment to support safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
Partner with physicians and clinical team members to provide an excellent patient experience.
Support additional imaging and clinical needs as part of a collaborative team.
