About The Position
Glendive Medical Center is looking for a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for imaging professionals seeking schedule flexibility while staying active in a hospital environment that serves a diverse patient population. You'll play an important role in helping providers diagnose and treat patients by delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services in a safe and patient-focused setting.
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- Montana Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to respond to on-call assignments within required timeframes
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
Responsibilities
- Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and answer questions about the exam process
- Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Operate imaging equipment according to department protocols
- Follow radiation safety practices and infection prevention standards
- Administer contrast agents when required and within scope of practice
- Upload, verify, and maintain images within PACS
- Assist radiologists and providers during imaging procedures as needed
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns
- Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals
