About The Position
The Imaging Technologist is responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. This role involves collaboration with other professionals both within and outside the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for supervising students during their clinical rotations. Highlands Medical Center is a 170-bed hospital located in Scottsboro, offering a wide variety of emergency, inpatient and outpatient services. It is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System, providing a collaborative environment and is accredited by the Joint Commission. The system also includes various owned-entities across the community, employing over 720 individuals.
Requirements
- Associates in Radiology
- ARRT License
- CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
