Radiology Tech (PRN - Shift Varies)
About The Position
The Radiology Tech directs patient flow and communicates with technologists to support quality treatment and patient care. The position produces diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist and helps maintain effective departmental workflow, required education, equipment, operations, and daily functions in accordance with departmental and Joint Commission standards. The role reports directly to the Imaging Supervisor and serves a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population. The position is based at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The work involves standing and/or walking for 80% of the time, sitting in a standard office environment for 20% of the time, and positioning patients and equipment for 30% of the time. Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying of up to 50 pounds is required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Registry and Arkansas state licensure, or ARRT registry eligibility with temporary Arkansas state licensure.
- BCLS certification is required.

- Previous experience as a radiologic technologist in a Joint Commission-accredited healthcare facility.
