About The Position

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to provide imaging services, including routine diagnostic X-rays, portable X-rays, and fluoroscopy. The role focuses on obtaining quality diagnostic images, maintaining accurate records and orders, resolving quality-assurance issues, and ensuring images are promptly available to radiologists. The technologist also transports patients as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology.
• Current registration with A.R.R.T. (R).
• Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT)/TMB license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Scan in labels and document appropriately.
• Resolve quality-assurance issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are valid and entered appropriately.
• Transport patients as needed.
