Radiology Technologist Midnights
About The Position
Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The technologist demonstrates good clinical skills and provides the best possible images for interpretation, applies principles of radiation protection, and complies with regulations. The position assumes responsibility for a designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. The technologist follows Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times. This is a full-time night-shift position at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. The schedule is 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with variable workdays and every third weekend.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Radiography program.
- Training gained at the student level.
- Radiologic Technologist registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within 180 days.
- ARRT Radiographer (R) credential required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
