About The Position

The CORE Institute Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for MRI and CT. The role involves performing radiographic examinations, providing professional patient care, maintaining infection control and confidentiality, supporting quality assurance, and assisting the Radiologist with arthrogram procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of an associate program in Radiologic Technology or certification from a credentialed radiology school, with ARRT Certification.
• At least one year of previous experience.
• Current state and ARRT licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Correctly identify patients and corresponding exams; obtain and document patient histories.
• Use proper patient positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid combinations to produce high-quality examinations.
• Follow standard precautions and maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patients about procedures and related information.
• Operate equipment properly, as assessed through observation and audit.
• Clean equipment and stock supplies as needed.
• Provide cooperative, positive, and professional patient care and customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical, financial, employee, computer, and other sensitive information.
• Perform and support quality assurance/CQI programs and processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals.
• Attend mandatory in-services and training.
• Assist the Radiologist with arthrogram procedures and demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
